WorkParty: Stay Inspired

WorkParty: Stay Inspired

      I’m from a generation that was supposed to grow up on books like “Lean In”, but something didn’t really click between us. I’m from a generation that was supposed to get everything clear after reading “Leave Your Mark” or “If You Have to Cry, go Outside”, but I don’t think we were on the same page. But that’s only because my generation was meant to “WorkParty”.

     “WorkParty” is a book by Jaclyn Johnson about women redefining the meaning of work, on their terms. I know you might say there are dozens or even hundreds of books like this one, and all of the authors generally talk about the same thing, but in a different way. This is exactly how I first looked at it, but on the other hand, the entrepreneurial world is changing so fast, social media has been so influential that every author can teach you something new.

     I had the pleasure of meeting Jaclyn on her “WorkParty” tour in Chicago about a month ago. “WorkParty” was the first book that I ever had signed by an author, and yes I’m the kind of girl that waited in the line just to say hello to someone who shares my vision of success and work. I don’t want to spoil the book for you because it just wouldn’t be fair. You have to read it for yourself. You will find things that are relatable, and things that are not…but perhaps only because they are not relatable to you just yet. That is what I caught myself thinking about while reading it. I almost wanted to turn some of the pages, but just because I’m not there yet doesn’t mean I will never get to that point.

      I’m here today to share some of my favorite quotes by Jaclyn. Not only because they’re good, but also because maybe it will give you the push to add this one to your reading list. Let’s do this:

People are a company’s best assets, so take your time in developing them, and once you find the “the one”, help them grow.

Treat every woman like she has the New York Times on speed dial.

You will make money and lose it, and as a female boss, you will begin to reconcile your femininity with your bossness because culturally you will find out those things do not always go hand in hand.

The harder I work, the luckier I get.

If you want to succeed, you have to be able to break from tradition fearlessly and sometimes recklessly.

How to Stay Productive When Working Remotely

How to Stay Productive When Working Remotely

     Not in million years would I have thought that working remotely would be a possibility for me. But, those are just the perks of our generation that we all should be grateful for and I hope everyone who reads this can experience that one day (including my NDS partner, Caroline). The real question is, how do you stay organized and still get everything accomplished with all of the freedom that comes from the blessing of “working remotely”?

          I will be honest, it ain’t always easy. If I’m going  to be completely honest, I am still figuring out my way in this 100% digital workspace. Today I’m going to share a few things that have been working for me so far:

        1. Working from Home: For anyone that has tried it, you likely know about all of the distractions that come along with working remotely. Things that can help you stay in check include starting your day by taking a shower and making your bed. Working in pajamas doesn’t bother me, but I certainly can’t work from my bedroom. Don’t skip your usual routine just because you are staying at home. The only thing I would suggest is skipping your makeup, and instead try a mask so your skin gets some benefits while you work, too.

          2. Coffee Shops: I love coffee shops. If I had to pick the perfect place to work from, it would absolutely be the coffee shop. The atmosphere helps me to stay focused. I had to try a few in order to find the one that works best for me. Call me picky (well, maybe because I actually am!), but the music has to stay at a certain volume, seats have to be comfortable, and having healthy snacks available is always a plus. You don’t always stumble upon a coffee shop that has that, and there is nothing worse than being overly caffeinated and hungry. So make sure to bring some snacks with you if you know that the coffee shop doesn’t offer it.

      3. WeWork: This is also a great option. Where do I begin? I think those three months that I worked from a WeWork location were the most productive months ever. For those who have never heard of it, WeWork is a shared workspace for people that work remotely. You can rent a dedicated office or try one of their first come, first served desks for a lower commitment. The atmosphere has my working mood on point. Everyone there is extremely quiet and respectful of your space, so there are literally no distractions. You have a separate space for phone calls, which helps you maintain some privacy, and you won’t risk annoying people around you while you chat on the phone.  Plus they usually have free coffee and beer…I mean, you pay a decent amount of money for the membership, so that’s one of the ways it pays off. Also, many are open 24/7, unlike your hometown coffee shop.

      4. Prioritizing is important. Whether you are working from home or a coffee shop, the only way to get things done is to actually be doing something. Prioritizing is the key, and what really works for me is writing everything out. Plan your goals for the week, and then for every day. Having a game plan ahead of time will help keep you organized as the week unfolds, since distractions tend to pop up along the way. I always try to plan at least a day in advance, adding things to my list as the day progresses.

     5. If you work from home, create a dedicated workspace. There is nothing better than having everything you need handy and your desk cleared off. But if you have a million projects going on, good luck with that one. I’m praying for this to happen for me, since my desk can is home to everything from magazines to measuring tape, and sometimes even fabrics. But I do feel more productive when everything gets cleared off, that I can say for sure.

     Share in the comments what tips have been working for you, and hopefully we can learn from each other.

Everything You Need to Know About Create & Cultivate Conference

Everything You Need to Know About Create & Cultivate Conference

       Create & Cultivate is a conference with dozens of inspiring female influencers and entrepreneurs. For the most part, this conference takes place in big cities, and I was thrilled when I found out it was coming to Chicago! I bought my ticket right away before they sold out, which happened super fast. So if you are planning to go next year, please make sure to buy your ticket right away. The hype around this conference is huge, which means tickets are only available for a short period of time.

      One of the reasons that I’m here today is to shed some light on what this event is all about, what to expect, and how things actually proceed. I would have loved if someone had shared those tips with me before my first conference. Ready! Set! Go!

#ootn: Zara black one shoulder shirt, Zara jeans, Nordstrom shoes, BaubleBar necklace, & Zara bag

      A week before the conference, you will receive a box containing all the things you will need for the day of the event. This includes: a badge with the track you will be on (track 1 or track 2), your mentor card with the name of your mentors for that day, a pin to wear, and a card explaining what you should bring with you the day of the event. The day before the actual conference, you get to go to the happy hour where you can network with fellow attendees. Technically, that gives you  two legit days getting to know people in the beauty and fashion industry. Isn’t that amazing? You will need to bring your badge or show you email confirmation along with your license upon arrival.

        The day of the conference:

Guest Speakers included: Shay Mitchell, Jaclyn Johnson, Marianna Hewitt, Whitney Port, Chriselle Lim, Ashley Tisdale, Jennifer Hudson, & Alli Webb from Drybar

        Check-in time is from 8 to 9am. The minute I heard the time I was like OMG, that’s so early! But these are the things you do for success :). A huge line shouldn’t surprise you since everyone is getting there practically at the same time, so just be patient and use it as another chance to network with people around you.

       There will be two tracks going on at the same time the entire day, each switching stages with different speakers. Track one was more business oriented and the speakers were mainly focused on finance. One of the most memorable ones for me was Vital Proteins. Meanwhile, track two focused on creating content and influencer marketing with speakers like Whitney Port and Chriselle Lim. If you want a good seat in the front, I would suggest waiting in line early to walk into the next track because space fills up really quickly.

     There are plenty of vendors to keep you entertained if you aren’t interested in listening to certain speakers, but if you are like me and wouldn’t want to miss any speakers, don’t worry. There is a break time for you to explore all the vendors! Besides that, you will receive a swag bag with so many products from the vendors, so make sure you either bring a bigger bag with you that day or grab a bag one of the vendors are handing out so you can carry everything! Side note: You won’t get your swag bag until you leave so you don’t have to carry it around the whole day.

Vendors at the conference included: Living Proof, Nordstrom, Big Sexy Hair Products, Sephora, JC Penny, McDonalds, Sweet Greens, La Croix, Oui Atelier, Kombucha, Vital Proteins, WeddingWire, & Bic Soleil

        Side note: there is also breakfast in the morning, lunch, and evening snacks so you won’t starve!

        Okay, last but not least! BRING YOUR BUSINESS/CONTACT CARDS WITH YOU. There is so much networking to be done at these events. Don’t be shy to talk to anyone or ask for their business card. Everyone is there to learn, and learning involves making new connections and developing relationships with people. FedEx can make the most simple business cards for you to bring to the event. Even if you don’t have a business yet, you can always have ones made that just have your name, email and phone number on it. You don’t want people to have to find somewhere to write it down when you exchange information. (That’s just not professional.) Business cards are the most efficient way to go.

This is talent right here. La Croix had the talented artist Lindsey Kate drawing everyone who came up to their booth. She is a Fashion Illustrator.

That’s it for now! If there is anything you would like more insight on from the conference, just comment below!

Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2% and Its Effect on My Oily Acne Prone Skin

Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2% and Its Effect on My Oily Acne Prone Skin

      The Ordinary’s Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2% is one of my favorite products from their line, and if you ask why, it’s because it actually works. You know how it usually goes when we buy products. We give them a try and often don’t see any results. That is not the case when it comes to this one. Here are a few tips to make the most of using it, along with my impressions:

  • At first there was some pretty intense tingling, especially around my eyes and lips. My skin rarely has any sensations when it comes to skincare products, so that made me slightly nervous. I would suggest going easy with it in those two areas. The founders and online reviews say that the tingling goes away in a week or two, but if you know your skin the way I do, you might want  to avoid using this product around your upper lip and take extra care around your eye area. If the tingling feels unbearable to you, or if you don’t want to take any chances, you can always mix it with your favorite moisturizer. For people with sensitive skin, I suggest being cautious and maybe start with it as a spot treatment to see how your skin reacts.
  • The first time I applied this product, I used it along with Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%. At the time, I had two breakouts on my cheek, and I swear to you the next day they were almost gone. Three days later, they had vanished completely.

  • Another miraculous effect this product had was brightening my skin. We all know how long it takes for acne scars to go away, and I noticed them fading after using this Vitamin C for only about one week. I literally had a “wow” moment, because, just like many of you, I am skeptical about a product until I see visible results. I’m very happy with its effectiveness.
  • Another benefit is that it  works well with the other products I use. I usually wait a couple of minutes to let it soak in before I follow up with moisturizer. The formula seems compatible with the rest of my skincare routine.
  • Because of all the tingling and irritation that can follow (I suggest starting with a less-concentrated Vitamin C to build up your tolerance), I only apply it at night. Plus its texture is a bit gritty, which makes it a better product for my p.m. skincare routine.
  • My skin looks super plump and radiant the morning after using it. I can’t say it helps fines lines just yet since breakouts and scars are my biggest concern.
  • In the beginning, the texture was something that threw me off. At first, it’s very creamy, but as you rub it in (like you would do with any cream or serum), it developed more of  a texture that was harder to spread. So now I only use a drop of product and apply it to one area of my face, then apply another drop for another area, and so on.
  • I use it only at night, and after one month of use I’m can see that I’m almost halfway done with the product, which means that one bottle won’t even last for two months. That’s a downside, but on the other hand the product is only about $7, so it won’t hurt your wallet too much…just pray it’s not out of stock when you go to reorder it.

Hope this helps!

Fall 2018 Trends: Oversized Coats, Animal Print and More

Fall 2018 Trends: Oversized Coats, Animal Print and More

      When you live in Chicago and have four seasons (more like two actually, temperature-wise it feels more like three months of summer and nine months of winter here!), you end up having more clothes than you can actually fit in your closet. Long story short, September is approaching pretty quickly, so we are happy to announce it’s time to shop for fall. Personally, I can’t wait to embrace the art of layering, especially since it seems this time around trends are heavily inspired by the 80’s. If you are a girl always on the hunt for trends like I am, you will probably find more plaid, animal print, statement coats, velvet and lace, bustier dresses and cozy oversized sweaters in your wardrobe this season.

           Here are some fall outfits to give you some shopping inspiration!

Staple Pieces Everyone Needs to Have in Their Closet
          Oversized coats. Simply put, the most versatile and transitional staple piece that one can own. The best part is that you can pull it off with anything and it works for any occasion. But if you were to ask me this season’s style recipe, I would say here are the ingredients: a classic black coat, a colorful coat to add interest to all of your looks, and a plaid coat, which is definitely the most sought after trend for Fall 2018. Here are some options for you to shop: The Date Night Blazer, Don’t Sugarcoat it Longline Coat, Lily Knit Back Midi Coat, Mural Blazer Midi Coat, Feutre Coat, Lapels Structured Coat, Unstructured Wool-Blend Coat.
Most Favorite Looks with Animal Print Pieces
       Animal print. This fall, get excited for animal prints to make a comeback, with everything from  leopard to snakeskin gracing the runway. If you ask me, it almost feels like it hasn’t been gone for that long. If you are going for more of a luxurious look or if you are trying to hit the high-charts with killer street style, then it’s a great idea to mix in some color and give some space to let the animal print take center stage by keeping it simple in the accessories department. Get inspired by these pieces: Perfect Pair Oblong Bandana, Kate Leopard Coat, Leopard Chevron Sweater, Foldover Calf Hair Clutch, X Revolve Delaney Duster, X Revolve Bada Bodysuit, Pant 88.
Must Have Oversized Sweaters for This Fall Season

        Cozy sweaters. Aren’t you happy these never seem to go out of style? The coziest part of the fall season is big, comfy oversized knit sweaters. Just one con worth mentioning: the room they take up in your closet and drawers. But you know yourself that it’s worth it. Every time I’m pursuing a stylish or classic look, I go for cream, black and white colored sweaters. For something fun and maybe more casual, I pick one of my bright colored or patterned sweaters. Shop some options here: GCDS Logo Sweater, East Coast Wrap Sweater, Softly Structured Tunic, Jill Sweater, Twister Sweater, Patterned Top, Rib-Knit Sweater, Cora Sweater.

Let the fall shopping begin.

Weightless Multi-Tasking Hydrating Facial Oil

Weightless Multi-Tasking Hydrating Facial Oil

       If you are looking for a new skincare product and you have dry skin, I think I might have something for you. I was introduced to Biossance by a friend. She got a sample of 100% Squalane Oil, but her skin is on the oily side and I guess it didn’t work out for her…lucky me!

Multi-Tasking Facial Oil That Works for Dry and Oily Skin

     I will be honest. My first impression from the get go is that their products are on the pricey side, but they are so worth it. The full-size bottle of Squalane Oil goes for $58. I know, it’s a bit crazy…but the best part is that they offer a sample size for $14. That sample will be enough for you to figure out if this product is worth the investment for you.

     Side note: they are offering 25% off on all of the products until August 28, 2018 when shop through their website. Also, you get $15 for referring a friend. So hurry up!

Oil that Hydrates Face, Body and Hair

    So what’s squalane? I love brands that educate you about their products and the ingredients they use. The Biossance website explains:

You may or may not have heard of squalane, but your skin has. The human body produces its own version (known as squalene), but the amount made and retained in the skin decreases over time. It peaks in our teens and then starts to decline in our 20’s, leaving skin rough, dry and vulnerable.

        After using it for about two weeks on a daily basis, my skin felt moisturized and that annoying dullness has disappeared. This product has given life and glow to my skin, which is so hard to achieve for a girl with dry skin. The good news: This oil is meant for all skin types, so don’t let the word “oil” scare you off. It doesn’t contain fragrance, which is really something you must watch out for when choosing your next skincare product. It’s also non-toxic and hypoallergenic.

Facial Oil that Instantly Hydrates and Locks in Essential Moisture.

Just a few tips:

  • You can use it for adding moisture to your cuticles, as well as your hands;
  • You can add a drop or two of the oil to your body lotion if your skin feels extra dry;
  • Same tip goes for your hair;

     My routine with it is pretty simple: I use this oil by itself at night and also in the morning before applying my moisturizer. Pretty certain this product will stay on my shelf for a long time!

7 Tips to Help Your Photoshoots Run Smoothly

7 Tips to Help Your Photoshoots Run Smoothly

     You would think that being a blogger puts me in a category of people that feel very comfortable in front of the camera. Photoshoots are my least favorite part of the blogging journey, but it happens to be the most important one sooooo long story short, there are some things you simply must do as a blogger. The day we decided to launch Next Destination: Style, we also made the decision to hire a photographer. And here are just a few reasons why:

  • I personally don’t know much about cameras, and that would have just added another thing that I would have needed to learn to start blogging. Hiring a photographer simply saved me lots of time.
  • Quality photography is something you must invest in if you are trying to make your blog look professional, and trust me, people will notice the difference.
  • Photographers are professionals, and the pictures they take are better quality than photos taken by your annoyed friends or a family member.

Here are some tips for making your photoshoots go as smoothly as possible:

       1. Decide on the mood. Photography is an art. Remember that every picture will have its own spirit and a message that it sends. Think of what you are trying to show off. Do you want to highlight certain pieces of your outfit, the location you are shooting, travel vibes? In this photoshoot, I wore this purple scarf in a couple of different ways while also trying to channel a California vibe here in Chicago, which I wouldn’t have been able to accomplish without my amazing photographer: Lua Photo.

    2. Location. In my book, location comes even before the outfit. The backdrop and scenery sets a particular mood that I use as inspiration when shopping for pieces to create my looks. But that’s not it. Scouting locations beforehand will save you time and money. Looking for locations at the last minute can be pretty stressful. You might get lucky and find someplace that is insta-worthy and cute along the way, but it’s better to plan ahead. That’s the best tip to consider when you are planning to get some shots in a local restaurant, hotel or coffee shop. Trust my experience: Call and ask first before strolling in with a professional photographer because some places won’t allow that. It’s also a great opportunity to ask if you can come in before the place opens up, which will give you much more freedom to get creative with the place. Plus, doing so means there is no need to photoshop people out of the image later on.

Side note: At the end of the day, it’s important that what you are wearing flows with the color scheme and, of course, the background of your location.

Stand out in these chunky, hollow hoop earrings, found only at Urban Outfitters. Shiny, metal open-ended hoop that puts a bold spin on a classic look.

         3. Look for inspiration. Time to scroll through Pinterest boards and save some pins for inspiration. It’s not only useful for you, but also for your photographer. A couple of days before the shoot, I shared some boards on Pinterest with mine and I think that was helpful for both of us to get an idea of the style and mood that we were going for. There is nothing more important than being able to translate your vision to the photographer, and what could be more helpful than saved Instagram pictures or Pinterest boards.

      4. Prepare you looks in advance. Staying organized is the key to success. Pull your looks together the day before. Take some pictures showing all of the details of your outfit, including shoes and jewelry. You would be surprised how many looks you can achieve by simply switching, adding or removing some accessories. And what is the best way to remember all of that when you have only two seconds to change outfits? The easiest way is to have it all stored on your phone. I would suggest creating a catalog of looks, which you may even want to share with your photographer so they can envision what you’re going for as well. You would be surprised how serious some photographers are about their job.

Side note: If you are thinking of changing your hair for one of the photos or adding a bright lipstick, for example, try to do that during the last few pictures. I have learned this lesson the hard way from trying to find makeup remover in the middle of nowhere in NYC at 8:00 am.

     5. Practice your poses. Find what fits you as well as the look you have created. If you’ve been inspired by poses  on Pinterest and the like, test those out in front of a mirror beforehand. I always take some quick snapshots ahead of time to see what I will look like in those poses. Keep in mind that photoshoots can get chaotic, and it’s easy to forget what you wanted to achieve in your photos while remembering your best angles.

      6. Bring makeup and hair products along. You will need to retouch after you switch from one look to the next or when you have to pull your hair up. That’s when hairspray really comes in handy, especially if your hair tends to  frizzy easily. Welcome to Chicago.

      7. Involve a friend. It is always nice to have someone who can help carry bags around (haha). A third party can also be very helpful for the photographer when she/he needs to get the light game on, so promise your friend two professional pictures or even drinks afterwards…few friends can say no to that.

        Once you do more photoshoots, you will find what works best for you. The only thing I can’t promise is that it will be easy, but it will certainly be fun. But hey, remember that nothing that is worth doing comes easy. Leave your tips in the comments below! Maybe we can learn from you as well!

Jumpsuits Are My New Summer Love

Jumpsuits Are My New Summer Love

        If we had to pick our favorite outfits of this spring/summer so far, not one but several pieces from  would have made it on the list. We learned about this online shop from a friend, and even got to meet the owner who just recently launched her website. Danielle, just like the two of us, has decided to pursue one of her passions: fashion. She has always believed that clothes can really help people express their individual personalities: “I love how an outfit can completely change a person’s mood or self-esteem with the addition of a pair of bold heels or a colorful bag. I want to sell clothing that makes women feel confident! Mixing that with my career in social media advertising has brought us here!” Her online store was officially launched April 15th, 2018 and we are here to share some of our favorite looks that we put together from ShopSocialGal:

        1. The Center of Attention Stripe Jumpsuit. Trust me, she called it this for a reason. It’s hard to tell you how many compliments I received when I wore it, but there was definitely a whole bunch. It’s certainly one of the best pieces I got to try on. The fabric is extremely soft and light. I combined it with this straw bag from Zara and these Rachelle-2 Suede Sandals from Vince.

      2. Fit For a Queen Navy Romper Maxi. There are two things that make this piece unique. First, it’s a short romper that is hidden beneath a full, long skirt, and second, it has an open back. So cute! It has a beautiful v-neck that allowed me to show off some of my favorite pieces of jewelry so far this summer. Could it get any better?!

Blue and White Striped Romper

     3. My Lucky Peonies Floral Off the Shoulder Dress. Like any good clothing store, ShopSocialGal stocked up on some cute floral dresses for summer, like this one. It is my absolute favorite, and I think the off-the-shoulder part must have something to do with it. Florals will never go out of style, that’s something that is guaranteed. I love to pair these types of dresses with my “Lavette” Perforated Peep Toe Bootie from Vince Camuto, especially when I’m trying to keep my look casual.

           4. Dance the Night Away Navy Romper. Who doesn’t have more than one jumpsuit in their closet, if not more than that? I love a good jumpsuit. They’re fast, easy and stylish.This one specifically was so cute and comfortable to wear. It would be perfect to wear to an outdoor event or street fest. You can dress it up with heels or dress it down with some flats. The jumpsuit really stands out, which means that you don’t need many accessories. Perfect for summer days or nights!

        ShopSocialGal is constantly adding more items to the collection, so there is always something new and on trend available! Danielle eventually wants to expand the store into bags, shoes, and jewelry. Possibly her own graphic tee line as well! All things that are comfortable and cute. We are so excited for this!

Happy Shopping!

That One Hair Oil that Made My Hair Look Picture Perfect

That One Hair Oil that Made My Hair Look Picture Perfect

       My story with Bumble and Bumble began the day I decided to make an appointment at the salon to cut my hair short. I just felt so bored with it at the time. After scrolling through Instagram on a daily (actually, more like an hourly) basis, I felt like my hair was lacking that picture-perfect shine all of the celebrities have.

Bumble and Bumble Invisible Hair Oil

       I had no idea whether cutting my hair would fix that issue, but I was definitely on a mission to get that haircut…that is, until I walked into Sephora and asked a consultant to show me the product that ended up bringing life and glow back to my hair. He handed me Bumble and Bumble hair oil. I fell in love and we have been together ever since.

Product that Makes My Hair Look Picture Perfect    Here are just a few reasons why you should invest in it yourself, and when I say invest, it’s because it is a bit on the pricey side…so listen up:

  • It contains six different kinds of oils that are very beneficial for your hair;
  • It doesn’t weigh down hair like some other hair oils tend to do;
  • The day you try this oil will be the day you say goodbye to split ends;
  • If you have curly hair, that probably means you have a close relationship with hot tools, and it’s no secret they cause hair damage. This oil will protect your hair from getting damaged while heat styling;
  • It will make your hair smell great even though it absorbs quickly;
  • I love using it on dry hair too since it helps to tame that annoying frizz;
  • A little goes a long way. I bought it about six months ago and have only gone through ¼ of the bottle;

Fast Absorbing Hair Oil      Friendly reminder: avoid using too much of the oil so your hair doesn’t get greasy. And please, please, please don’t put it on your roots! I’ve heard some people actually do that. Anyways, if you have been struggling to find a great hair oil that will keep your hair healthy, soft and moisturized, I think I may have solved that one for you today. I hope I did 🙂

Your NDS Duo,

The Accessory Trend that Will Never Leave for Good: Hoop Earrings

The Accessory Trend that Will Never Leave for Good: Hoop Earrings
      Do you ever fall behind on trends? Welcome to my life. It takes me time to catch up on some fashion trends, and in this case we are talking about hoop earrings. They made a comeback in 2017, but only recently have I begun falling back in love with them…..but as they say: better late than never.
The Chuck Taylor All-Star is a staple: the high-top and oxford silhouettes stay simply classic, while the white laces and star ankle patch give a nod to the legacy of the Chuck. This is the go-with-everything go-to that you won’t get sick of going to.

       If you had met me in the 90s, all that you would have found in my jewelry box were huge hoop earrings, and I  was absolutely obsessed with those shoulder-sweeping hoops, which would literally make me keep my posture straight. My mom was happy. It was the only time she wouldn’t have to lecture me about my posture.

Never let go of the ‘90s with these vintage-inspired chain bracelets.

      Being a 90s baby and seeing trends like this coming back makes me feel a little sad because it means I’m getting older, but then again it’s so nice to see them back around. But for the most part, I love how they are coming back in different shapes and sizes, and my favorite is gold! Gold was never my thing and I don’t even have explanation as to why, but lately all I ever look at are gold pieces. If I need to be extra honest, I think Negin Mirsalehi is responsible for it.

slightly wide-cut, relaxed-fit construction sweater
