We are continuing with our “Best Of” lists. We only have two more days to go so we are really trying to get our hands on all of the categories. What’s next? Well, my favorite one: beauty products. This category is one where I spend a significant amount of my money, because I believe in quality and that usually comes with a price tag. How can you blame me? My Instagram feed (just like yours) gets hit by so many products on daily basis that it becomes overwhelming. And for that exact reason, I won’t be telling you about every product that lives on my shelf.
Today I’m here to talk about my favorite beauty discoveries that were made throughout the course of past year. I’m sure you have seen them all over Instagram, but I just wanted to give you my word for it. Here are products that have moved from “the nice to haves” to “must haves” list. Seven products I genuinely recommend as a girl with dry hands, dry hair and combination skin, my seven beauty standouts of 2018:

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation ($44): smooth and blends in easily. It stays on beautifully throughout the day, and trust me it’s not an easy thing to find for a girl with oily skin. Gisou Honey Infused Hair Oil ($84): I use it mostly on my roots after a shower and before styling. It works great as a finishing product and helps with flyaways. A little goes a long way so that price tag is really not as bad. You can always add a few drops to your hair mask. Milk Makeup KUSH High Volume Mascara Mini ($12): It instantly boosts length and volume. It separates lashes like no other one did before. It lasts all day and is easy to wash off (you can’t sell it to unless I can remove it within seconds).

NARS Orgasm Afterglow Lip Balm ($28): this is extremely hydrating. It goes on smoothly and adds beautiful natural color/gloss to my lips. I just really hope NARS doesn’t discontinue them…EVER. Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel ($22): even though I significantly cut back on wearing makeup everyday, I never leave home without fixing my brows with this gel. Super light, non flaky and keeps my brows in place for over 18 hours.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Waterproof Creme Color ($18): I didn’t think I was ever going back to black eyeliner until I was introduced to this one. It stays on through both day and night. It goes on incredibly smoothly. I love how pigmented it is. Doesn’t fade. Doesn’t budge. AESOP Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm ($31): Instagram bloggers sold this one to me. It ended up on my Holiday Gift Guide for 2018. Smells like mandarin oranges with hint of rosemary. Weightless and not sticky. It’s the best hand cream yet, and trust me because I’ve tried dozens.
