Just like you, I get hit with tons of skincare products on a daily basis. That leaves me with the question: What the hell do I even buy next? It seems like everyone has something to say, and it’s always a twelve step skincare routine. Who has time for that? Not me. I will confess that my vanity looks like one of Sephora’s shelves, but only because I switch things around a lot. Yes, commitment issues at their finest.
So here is what I’ve been using for the past three months:
Cleanser: I use two, one for am and another for pm.

I prefer Youth to the People Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser for my morning routine since it’s light and I don’t need to remove any makeup. The only issue is that my skin feels tight as soon as I wash it off, so I really need to hurry up with the moisturizer.

For removing makeup and all the impurities that build up throughout my day, I use It Cosmetics Confidence in a Cleanser Skin-Transforming Hydrating Cleansing Serum. It doesn’t dry my skin out, and it is really amazing for taking makeup off…even mascara.

Toner: I love Biologique Recherche Lotion P50. My friend had been begging me to try Biologique Recherche products. I chose to start with Lotion P50. It is considered to be an exfoliator, but it took the place of “toner” in my skincare routine. If you ever considered joining this cult, I suggest you start with the same. At first there were some tingling sensations, but my skin quickly adapted. It is important to read the instructions for how to use it: patting, not rubbing.

Eye Cream: Dr. Dennis Gross Ferulic + Retinol Triple Correction Eye Serum. I will start by saying that I love this brand, so I went in fully trusting this product — and it didn’t disappoint. This is the first retinol eye cream I tried that didn’t cause irritation. It leaves my eye area hydrated, and I hope it will keep those wrinkles at bay.
Moisturizer: Here are three that I’ve gone through in the past couple of months. I will list them from my least to most favorite, saving the best for last. I enjoyed all three, so you will really just have to see which one works for you:

#3. It Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream™ Transforming Moisturizing Super Cream. This particular one was working pretty great, but since my skin is oily I believe it was ultimately too thick for me. It didn’t clog my pores, but it’s just more of winter season product. I think people with dry skin and patches would find it super beneficial.

#2. Biossance Squalane + Probiotic Gel Moisturizer. This is my most recent purchase. I’ve been loving many products from this brand, so it was hard to settle on just one. It’s a gel-based moisturizer that works for my oily skin, but I would still prefer it to be a little lighter. I guarantee it will give you an even-toned and radiant look.

#1. I think this is the best moisturizer I’ve ever tried: OlehenRiksen Sheer Transformation Perfecting Moisturizer. If I had to swear by one product, this would be it. It wasn’t life changing — no, nothing like that. What it did was keep my skin moisturized while being super lightweight and absorbing quickly. Your skin will glow.
Hope this becomes handy when you are are ready to restock your skincare products again.
Love,
Nadia
