My favorite times throughout the year are when the seasons are changing because it means new things are coming. Do you ever notice that when the season changes, there are always announcements of new things coming to the market in every industry? Well, you already know our favorite one. If you are fashion junkies like us, then you already know what will be trending in the upcoming season. For those who simply don’t have time to keep up but still want to be in the loop, we put together a list of what you’ll be seeing on the streets this spring and what to look for when shopping this season’s trends.
Burnt orange will be the “it” color of the season, alongside other spring classics. Think different shades of yellow, pale blue, neons, red, green, pink and lavender. We are most excited about yellow…it just works with our color palette best.
Be sure to stock up on some blazers because you will be seeing them everywhere. The best part is that they will remain in style for years to come since you can wear them in so many different ways. Plus, who doesn’t look good in a blazer?
Sheer tops and sheer dresses have always been around. The only difference you will be seeing this year is the way they are styled. Pair them with casual pieces for a sophisticated yet sexy look.
Fishnets come and go, so take advantage of this trend now like we will be trying to do. There is always that one piece that is a big hit one year and then fades away the next…and from where we stand, fishnets are it. It’s just one more reason to have fun with it this spring.
Statement sleeves have already started making their way into stores and we are all for it. Puffy shoulders or lantern sleeves instantly elevate even the most casual outfits. Bring on those statement sleeves. If you are a girl who is not big into sleeves, a cold shoulder top is another way for you to stay trendy.
One more fashion trend that we are super excited about is monochrome neutrals. Yes, this is a trend that never seems to go away, but Spring 2019 will give it a bigger spotlight.
Last but not least, don’t hesitate to invest in pieces with polka dots patterns, as well as houndstooth, crochet, mixed media fabrics, metallics, plaid, colorful fringe and large square checker prints.
